THE DAY STARTED A BUT GREY

but I walked my round of course. Saw the coot family with 3 little darling babies (some think they look ugly, exactly why I love them).
Piet Hein came back from his swim in sea and told us he had seen for the second time a little seal. The police had spotted her and had called for the rescue.
In the afternoon we set off to have a look and walked upon the Zandmotor. We did not see her now. Walking on the endless sand we saw the police- and the seal-rescue-car driving to the surf and when they saw us asked if we had seen the seal and if I had made photos. Twice no was our answer. They continued their tour and have a look for themselves.
Upon the sand there were cormorants gathered and I managed to take my blip.
A nice walk in the sunshine it was. Mischa feels a lot better, perhaps we go for a swim tomorrow if the weather is still good.

My haiku:

A nice summer stroll
I figure that could be called
Life, alas, sometimes

And the proverb by S. Butler:

Life is one long process of getting tired.
