Divided Circle by Barbara Hepworth.

I spotted this on my way out of Clare College, after yesterday's blip session in the gardens. I returned today to get a shot of this stunning bronze sculpture. It is by Barbara Hepworth, 1903 to 1975, who tragically died in an accidental fire in her Trewyn studios. It is called Two Forms - Divided Circle 1969, and is sited in the Fellows garden, Clare College, Cambridge, where it is on loan from the Hepworth Estate. Barbara Hepworth is remembered as an internationally renowned artist and a major influence on the development of modern sculpture.
