Even too cold for Sparrows?

And it was.  Big T quite rightly stayed home but I had to tough it out while the Boss’s camera pak stood on the ground at -6 C this morning as this image was made.

The mountain is Treble Cone, one of Wanaka’s ski fields (serious) and at pre sun up very much in the grooming mode which we had never seen. We have lived here for 15 years but it takes dedication to be out this early trying to take pictures in the semi dark.
And then he went home and COOKED breakfast.
And then he had a haircut.
AND then he had a hot shower.
