Acupuncture, Sir?
Very busy day today starting with a long trip diagonally across the country to Harlow to get my bike battery tested out. The nice man there decided that the battery was defunct and kindly gave us another one. Excellent customer service.
Then we had to set out into the lands east of the M1 (Extreme foreign territory - close to the end of the world, Chantler63!) and headed to the Blipmeet at the Swiss Gardens and Jordan's Mill. We only missed coffee and were able to make up for that by combining lunch and afternoon tea a little later. Great to meet up with Blippers familiar and never met before. The gardens were beautifully peaceful and this delightful specimen of a peacock was very obliging. For the first time ever, I found myself lying flat out on the slightly damp grass, creeping closer and closer to see if I could get a shot of his head feathers. Two Blippers creeping up on a Peacock? We must have looked a little strange! I have been well taught by Chantler63 and Technophobe...
The journey home at rush hour round Coventry was rather tedious but that didn't matter as we've had such a lovely day in such good company.
Thank you to all those who attended.
