Applique in Glandore

I was blessed to have a free afternoon today and it was a beautiful day. So off I went on a trip around West Cork! Only plan was to go places where I hadn't stopped before!
I stopped in Glandore at the little chapel on the side of the road - Christ Church, the Church of Ireland Church - because I know they have been doing conservation work on it.
Inside I discovered a truly inspiring exhibition of appliqué artistry by local people. They have all been tutored by Susannah Halliday whom I had the pleasure to chat to. 
It's open 11am to 5pm and closes on Sat next so if you are nearby, it's worth a visit.
