Slow to ripen.

We can grow blueberries here in Scotland, they just take a little longer I expect than other parts. This is No 3's blueberry plant, nearly there, but not quite. It is also her responsibility to pick our small but tasty collection of blackcurrants, raspberries and gooseberries, and later apples.
She is on a sleepover tonight at her Auntie F's , Shiv's sister. My sister is also an 'F' so it can sometimes be confusing. So a quiet night in for me!
