The Book Nook

Not many folk use the phone boxes these days and libraries are closing everywhere. So, it's good to see more of the book nooks cropping up where you can take your old books and pick up something new to you.

Apparently, according to Eve, more sci-fi and fewer spiders would be a good thing.

Earlier Mrs S had driven me up to Gullane to pick up my car and then we got back to arrange the battle of the Chris's. Chris the Builder and Chris the Architect. The former thought the latter had made a bollocks of his measurements. It turned out he was right. Much to the embarrassment of Chris the Architect. Unfortunately, it's an expensive mistake too.

Then I went for a bike ride in the rain before heading home to make meatless meatball pasta.

In other news, there's a very tall eighteen year old boy/man wandering around the house tonight.
