Flying

Last night's Gin Club meant we weren't firing on all cylinders. It is also possible that I was named 'HolidayZilla' by Jayne as I tried to get stuff ready/packed.

It was wonderful driving for less than an hour to get to the airport. As the travel agent had done online check in, we were straight through security - which doesn't take long at Newquay.

The flight was 20 minutes shorter than the apparent 1 hour, 59 minutes and 32 seconds it should have taken... Our 'meet and greet' was waiting but was not happy that his driver was not waiting - 15 minutes later he ceased chain smoking anxiously and herded us into the shuttle bus.

The resort was a 10 minute AT MOST drive and check in was wonderfully smooth. First impressions are good. Very good in fact. I feel this shall be a most excellent holiday!
