Late night blip

Last of the back blips.  Another 1 to 9 shift, preceded by shopping for dad.  A very brief visit to drop the shopping in to his flat.  Another long shift at work.

W very kindly cooked a meal when I got home, and then I looked for something to take a picture of.  ended up with a photo of an unidentified shrub in a pot on the patio.  I think it was one of a collection of 6 sold as "foliage plants for baskets and pots" - no labels.  It has now grown quite large, maybe 70cm tall, and has an attractive dark, waxy leaf.

Next year we will probably plant it out in the garden., though the lack of knowledge about its potential final size makes choosing a site difficult.
