Furniture removal

The old, red sofa was taken away to be disposed of today and the new, cream one (as modelled here by Basil, sort of) arrived to take its place.

In other news, Son2 went off to Cornwall this morning for his festival. Seven hours after they left I had a text saying they'd just arrived but the queue looked really long. This reminds me a bit of the time Gary and I got caught up in Operation Stack on our way to a dig in Kent. The problem always is that when you finally arrive you still have to put your tent up before you can relax. Always fun though, and character-building, and I'm sure Son 1's Duke of Edinburgh Award experience will stand him in good stead ;)
