Here's to the ladies who lunch
The table to have - overlooking the river Dart at Dartmouth close to the Royal Castle Hotel. What a viewpoint. Book early. What were they saying?
We were on a guided tour with a pilgrim father, the town crier, and his escort. On the way round we met Simon Drew, artist, who is fond of a pun.
Discovered some very unusual parts of the town including Silver Street, where sailors used to be relieved of their money. The old library looks a bit different nowadays. The good thing though is there is a new one. Here's to the Ladies who Lunch - Stephen Sondheim.
