Old friends meet again

We all worked for a specialist government department, CFL, where we taught adults through distance courses, and/or developed techniques and material for teaching those adult students via Internet.  In my case it was between 1995 and 2009. That latter year the newly elected government decided such new-fangled educational ideas were not needed and closed us down.
Although being closed down wasn't a whole lot of fun, with our varying experiences and expertise we all went on to new jobs fairly rapidly.
However, none of those new workplaces were as creative, or as much fun as CFL had been, so we enjoy getting together a couple of times a year to check the latest news and reminisce a little.
