Feeding frenzy
We had a lazy day today, Apart from an hour replenishing food supplies in Gairloch, most of the day was spent at the house, reading and pottering about. The weather was totally different from yesterday, with quite a lot of rain, so not many opportunities for photos. We filled the bird feeder with some peanuts and within minutes it was being well used, mainly by tits, but briefly by a young woodpecker. Unfortunately it didn't hang about long enough for me to get a shot! The chaffinches and a robin are enjoying the bits that have landed on the grass in the garden. In the evening we babysat the three older grandchildren and let their parents go out for a meal. So lots of cuddles at bedtime. They were really good.
