Saen Saep Khlong

Saen Saep Khlong is a canal that crosses the City of Bangkok from East to West. There are water taxis that enable commuters to avoid the usual traffic jams.
This view is from a small bridge that leads from the Jim Thompson House & Museum (on the right side) to the Muslim area (on the left side). 
Silk weaving was Jim Thompson's main trade near his house. The silk weaving still exists there.
