Timber!

There are three rowan trees in the garden. I decided that they should have a bit of a haircut as part of all the work that's currently taking place (and finally getting the finishing touches). So today two tree surgeons came with their saws, harnesses and hard hats. This is the oldest and largest of the three trees. All the time we've lived here children (and young adults, and not so young adults) have enjoyed climbing and swinging on it. This reminded me of some of the more daredevil-ish of them, though fortunately none was ever equipped with a chainsaw. To my knowledge anyway.
