Lismore Castle

Today we took a drive over to County Waterford to visit the lovely town of Lismore. This is the castle that dominates the town as you enter across the river (that belongs to the people who live in the castle).

There is a Lismore in New South Wales (a place my cousin knows very well) and this Lismore is twinned with it. That's about all they have in common. There's not many castles in New South Wales.
