Chinese wallpaper

Thus beautiful Chinese wallpaper was in a little bedroom in Broughton Castle, near Banbury. Pauline and I had an enjoyable afternoon exploring this atmospheric house which has been in the same family since the fourteenth century. It was full of lovely furniture and we climbed up and up little wooden staircases until we emerged out on the roof. Then we explored the gardens with lovely herbaceous borders.
This was our second dose of lovely furniture of the day. This morning we visited a very up market furniture shop in Woodstock featuring beautiful tables and Windsor chairs. Normous enjoyed it very much as he himself has made two Windsor chairs.
Poor Paul missed these trips as he stayed at home recuperating. The Olympics have kept him company.
