Gold plated and costing £600+ so "not today thank you.'"

A wonderful day touring the state rooms of Buckingham Palace with a friend and colleague. My second visit as we were wonderfully treated to a tour seven years ago by visiting friends. Well worth a second look and this time it included an exhibition of day and evening dresses worn by The Queen during her lifetime and reign. 

A long day out and lots of walking...through St James' park across Horse guards parade and eventually to Trafalgar Square. Happy to sit on the train for the journey home!
