US Holiday Day 20

First day in New York. List of sites seen today:-
Metro (buy weekly tickets) - Battery Park - Statue of Liberty - Ground Zero - Stonewall Inn - Big Gay Ice cream Shop - Friends Building - the English food shop ( free pork pie from the owner from Carlisle- High Line Linear Park - late lunch at Train Bleu  in Bloomingdale's (worst service of the whole trip) then back to the hotel, get changed , off to Broadway to see Les Miserables, Time Square and back to the hotel and joined a Scottish couple in the bar who were on their honeymoon, plus a random American they had already met. Very full day plus lots of other thing I have missed probably.
The extra picture looks like a rather tasteless human statue we found on the Linear Park. It took some time before anyone was brave enough to touch him, then we found it was a statue, not a human pretending. Incredibly lifelike even close up.
The group statue is in a small park opposite the Stonewall Inn, an iconic place in the fight for Gay Rights.
