Confounded

I can't even remember whether I mentioned this when I blipped last night, but we arrived home late, around 12.30am and I had a letter from the hospital, dated 29th July (which would probably have arrived on 31st), inviting me to have my tilt test done on August 9th.  I rang the hospital this morning to find, as I expected, that I had been black marked as a no-show.  Explaining the circumstances to the appointments clerk, she changed that status and that will result in my appointment being rescheduled.  However, apparently there isn't anything left in August.  

In my head, I am wondering how they were able to generate an appointment with such a short lead in time (less than a fortnight) but now, there's nothing for at least 3 weeks.  It is so frustrating.

Anyway, I have unpacked, done the laundry, done the shopping and generally been an all round model housewife.  Tomorrow I am back on the exercise and will be hoping for clear skies so I can go meteor watching tomorrow night.
