Tide and time
The face of the beach is constantly changing as the sea eats away the land. This is the 2nd village of Findhorn and I remember when the dunes were strengthened by huge boulders in order to try to protect them.
A local land developer is now building wooden beach huts- big enough for some deckchairs and maybe a surf board at a push. (The chances of them surviving for more than 5 years are pretty slim given the north wind and high tides I would imagine.) However, I'm no expert but thought these wooden steps were a good example of tide and time - waiting for no man.
PS- I should have added the beach huts are up for sale if you have a spare £25,000.....
