Shanklin

I'm on the Isle of Wight for a few days - so apologies in advance for a lack of comments...

I didn't know that I would be coming during Cowes week, nor did I know about the Shanklin regatta, which provided some fine entertainment this evening, culminating in a rather good firework display.

The evening light was rather beautiful, and with the tide coming in,  I liked this photo of a lone dinghy.  The extras show sunset colours over Sandown and one of the fireworks.
