Back 320 million years on the beach
No 1 son and I went on a fossil walk this morning between Pittenweem and Pathhead on the East Neuk coast with an expert geologist from the University of St Andrews.
Lots of fun finding stone specimens on the beach and looking at rocks with a different eye. In the centre of this picture you can see the fossilised stem of an ancient plant, can't you?
