Unlucky for some.

Took a break from painting front doors etc. and went for a wander down behind Torness and was reminded of a local superstition when I saw the off-shore lifeboat.

The colour green is considered unlucky amongst the local fishing population, why I don't know, but apparently they will not have anything green with them when the set sail!

Thankfully we are painting the door blue!
