A rare moment

Meet Symonds, our cat. Well, not really OUR cat, just a cat we bought almost 12 years ago that lives in our house.

We usually don't see him. But do provide him with food nonetheless. He does a piss-poor job of catching the rats in the walls. Mostly, he just sleeps in the dirt outside then brings all the dirt in to wash off on my bed. I like him because he hasn't vomited on my floors in a long time.

And apart from a plant we bought a few months before him, Symonds is the thing we have kept alive the longest, which gives me hope for our children.
