The cake

Only 2 weeks to go to the big day and cake making moves into phase 2. It has stood for a couple of weeks in it's baking paper and rested in a cool dark place. The wrappings came off tonight and was topped off with marzipan stuck down with tangerine marmalade. Its trad. to do it with Apricot Jam but Mrs wild is allergic to it with meesy consequences. I'll blip the finished item next week some time. It looks small in this shot but its 9 inch across and 3 inch deep.
