Thursday: Marine Building

Work has come up with a jolly good wheeze, namely that over the next 10 weeks I should embark on a photo project (on another forum), taking photos of stuff that connects Vancouver with the U.K.  I have to admit to feeling some creative pressure but I am going along with it.....I am sure you'll see some of the results here.

This is my first foray - the Marine Building, designed by a Canadian-British duo, McCartner and Nairne.  For a short while it was the tallest building in the British Empire.  I'll show you the height sometime - it's not particularly high.  But it is splendid.
