Start of training session

An early start to the day as we got a taxi to the airport for our flight to Sydney. Delayed departure, and otherwise an unremarkable trip. The Smart Gate technology got us through the passport control very quickly. Met by Tsuken and Mrs T who brought us up into the Blue Mountains, and gave us lunch and a quiet afternoon.

Late in the afternoon I got a few photos of him having a training session. I liked this one of him preparing to start the session; taken unawares, his focus and respect for the discipline of karate show through.

Later the grandchildren arrived home from school, and I got two lovely cuddles.

Brought over some reprints from his karate days as a youngster. He photographed our favourite print, and has included it as an extra with his blip of today
