Many years ago when I was a kid the wife of one of my dad's friends used to send me a bunch of lavender sticks every year. They had pink and blue thin ribbon woven around the flowers and done up with a bow at the bottom. They were really pretty. Every year when I pick my own lavender I remember them and would like to make some myself.

So the only link this has to technology is that I've been looking on the Internet to try and find something similar, up to now without success.
