Egg...

.. I know...
You can't tell the perspective.
It looks the same size as a hen's egg (medium).
It wasn't there yesterday.
And in the end I picked it up and looked at it, and it had a neat hole pecked in the side you can't see.

I want it to be an owl's egg. (Bless me).
I heard an owl in the garden last night.
But whatever it is, the notion of it is more interesting than the image of it that's for sure!.

I've been undergardening again..
..And I'm feeling it in the knees.
Oh the knees!

So..
The red wine forecast is looking pretty good this evening:-)
