A team of two brothers from Skibbereen are competing in the rowing in the Olympics. We went to a bar in town to watch the final. The atmosphere was electric. So much support. Some of their crew from the rowing club were there wearing team t-shirts with the now viral quote on the back - ' we're well used to a bit of wind'. 
I love how the town pulls together.  When the lads won their silver medal the joy was tangible and I'd say the whole town is partying tonight. 
It was a proud moment. Skibbereen's first Olympic medal!
