IT BEGINS...

Still waiting for the summer heatwave to arrive.

In other news our new car started making very sinister sounds and smells today so we had to get the recovery people to come and pick it up from home this afternoon and take it back to the dealer. We await Monday's diagnosis with trepidation, although it's still under warranty.

In other other news I've changed my mouse from my vertical one (supposed to help with RSI and my mouse shoulder) to a flat trackball one to see if it helps with my inflamed thumb and wrist joints and the extra bother they've been causing me with pains up and down my arm and hand. It seems to be an improvement, but I'll have to see how the next couple of weeks of intensive mousing works out. Perhaps I'll have to alternate them every few hours.
