Flags of Canada

This is on King Street at the corner near Bay, the heart of Toronto (& Canada's) financial district. I captured the flags from either direction, shooting them from the east then walking to the other end and shooting from the west. I then utilized my favorite app - Layout, and put them together. It was a good day. Last night my fun, flamboyant neighbour came for evening tea and brought my completely authentic speakeasy outfit for the prohibition themed party we are attending at adopted daughter S's home, to celebrate and kick off her new cohabitation with architect boyfriend E, we adore them both! I will blip a group shot just to share all the cool costumes from the era (1920s). Great night tonight meeting friends for drinks and appies after work. 43 degrees C and a Blue Jays baseball game, Argonauts Football game and the 2nd of 3 Tragically Hip concerts in Toronto....no wonder we had a hard time finding a bar with a free table! If you havent followed this most amazing Canadian band, check them out online. This is the most emotional concert series ever. The final one will be broadcast live from their home town of Kingston on August 20th...the entire country will be watching and crying.
