Waiting for some breakfast

Today has been better weatherwise ..... not particularly sunny but it has been dry.  Much to do today so I had an early couple of circuits round the loch before tackling some much needed work in the garden.

I spotted the heron standing among the willowherb fringing the loch but he was far too far away for a decent photo.  As I got nearer he took to the air and landed on the other side of the loch where there was less vegetation ... and he was still there when I arrived with camera ready.

Out tonight for a fish and chip tea with my pals.  I'll have to catch up with my Olympic viewing when I come home .... so much to watch today.
