No grass cutting

This morning, we took the dogs to Strichen for a walk as it was fine and bright.
A slight detour on the way back. I saw a hare but it saw me so off he ran.
Then I spotted this roe deer but he didn't see me!!
I stopped the car and by hiding behind trees, I managed to get fairly close to him. However, I must have made a noise as seconds after this, he was off and away into the woods.
Such beautiful and graceful creatures I think.
Just how can anyone shoot these lovely animals for fun???
And the title?
It has started to rain!!
