House of flags

I went into London today to sample the atmosphere. It was unusually relaxed and friendly, with everyone in holiday mood, and with loads of visitors from all over the globe.

I started off at Parliament Square, with this installation displaying all the Olympic countries' flags.

I then walked past Horseguards, onto Tower Bridge and finally to Stratford, but without a ticket it was a slightly depressing visit. There is still hope .....
