Tornado
Since the problems with 'trespassers on the line' earlier this year there are few steam trains that come this far south, most excursions picking up the steam loco at somewhere like Peterborough or Grantham. However, today Tornado was hauling 'The Robin Hood' excursion from London Kings Cross to Chesterfield, and will be returning this evening with the same train. Here it is passing the old station site at Tempsford, Bedfordshire.
For those that don't know, Tornado looks like an old engine but is in fact a new build, having only been completed in 2008 by enthusiasts.
