Oxford Canal: Mallardling

See its soft down in large.

I was pleased to find this duckling on the Oxford Canal this morning! It was with its mother, but had no siblings. The mother was being watchful, but the duckling was far too curious, and came "ashore" to have a look at me which was a bit concerning.
