Herne Bay sunset
We went into Whitstable and had a really tasty breakfast in an old Tudor style restaurant. We then had a walk down the High Street looking at all the interesting shops from stamp shops to Oyster Restaurants. We bought two huge peaches and some strawberries from a Greengrocers and then walked back along the sea front looking at all the fisherman huts and interesting houses that back on to the beach.
Then to my Mum and Dads for the afternoon. My brother came up too and we had a Chinese Take away and then it was a sad goodbye before we went to Herne Bay for a walk along the seafront. The sky looked wonderful, amazing colours developed as the sun went down. The pier was closed but we walked along a path that jutted out into the sea, Lots of birds were huddled along the rocks ready for bed.
We watched some more of the Olympics before going outside to look for meteors. A clear sky with the Milky way over head and several shooting stars zipping across the sky.
