Mini gardens...

All along the main shopping street of Altrincham there were these mini gardens. We'd gone to have a look around the market again. If you haven't been it's a revelation having been reinvented as a bit of a foodie paradise. In spite of being in the wealthiest part of the city, Altricham centre still looks a bit rundown with closed shops and cheap brands. The market area was busy and buzzing while the shopping area was relatively quiet. But the gardens were lovely. We've got to the time of the year when all the plants with the strong, vibrant colours are out. Here we have red Geraniums (or Pelargoniums if you like), orange Nasturtiums and deep blue Lobelia.
