Alternative View

Another day of too much choice to blip!  John arrived for breakfast this morning and then we all (Hildasrose & us) drifted into Birmingham for the day. We looked at a few city centre sights - the reflections of new Street Station continue to fascinate and the Library to amaze!  After a swift half of liquid refreshment in a pub, we joined a tour of the Jewelry Quarter; this was informative and fascinating and we walked a long way!

This blip is a view of Birmingham's Library facade looking up from the bottom (I was more or less on my feet) through the gap between the decorative face and front of building.

Once back at our 'hotel', (chez Hildasrose), we collapsed in front of the Olympics for a bit and will shortly be heading out for a meal at a local Indian restaurant that comes highly recommended.
