Brilliant Stanley Spencer exhibition on ... amongst several. Who knew that the writer of 'This Sporting Life' was a rugby player and Booker prize winner ... as well as a ceaseless doodler/artist? Tomorrow we head to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park to see that sparkly copper sulphide room I read about ... was it a year or so ago? Can't wait to see it and to watch the sky a bit more in the amazing concrete deer shelter place. Hope my back will let us wander about up hill and down dale!
