Common Carder Bee.... AOG 13

...... relaxing between heats, and doing what bees do;  he was obviously  aware of having his photo taken but like a true  professional he just carried on regardless.

I've spent another relaxing day in the garden apart from popping out for an eye exam this afternoon.  It was only a routine check up but I was pleased to be told my eyes were healthy and that my prescription hadn't changed since last year.
