On Standby

A fortnight ago we had a Chinese meal to celebrate Mrs W’s ***** burpday (Sergeant Peppers etc), but that was the fall back position to a BBQ which was the preferred option, but the weather could not be relied upon.
 
Having made all the burgers etc we decided that we needed to use them up, so tomorrow (Sunday) we are having said BBQ.  I think we have got all the hardware ready on standby.
 
The only problem is that it has developed from a small gathering to double the size, and we have wound up borrowing tables and chairs etc, etc, etc  . . .
 
What with yesterday’s picnic life is becoming one long party!
