CAWSAND

Hi there everyone. I hope you have all had a lovely day.
My Son and I went to Cawsand today. We took the train to Plymouth, and then got on the ferry. This was a half an hour crossing. This was a really lovely village, with winding streets etc. There was so much to explore, but we didn't really have enough time to do it all! As is always the case!
We  had Lunch at The Cross Keys Inn, which was a rather lovely Fish Stew. This had prawns, mussels,squid etc,with some chili in, and a touch of Pernod was in it too! In a wonderful rich sauce. This was served with garlic bread, grated cheese, french bread,and some dressing. It was delicious!!
Before we knew it, it was time to get on the ferry back to Plymouth, and home again. We will definitely be going there again though! A wonderful day out.
