AOG13 ~ Desert Tortoise Strawberry Snarfing

No herons or cormorants were to be found on the early morning trek around the lakes at Canyon Gate Stadium. What to do? Ah, yes! Check out the Desert Tortoise Strawberry Snarfing event at the outer venue. 

Herman was trying his best to get that strawberry inhaled so he could come and say hello to this reporter. When he hears my voice it certainly means strawberries or kale are on their way. We had a quick chat before he was looking for the honey suckle that he left behind. So much to eat, so little time before he goes into hibernation. (Usually the first part of October when it gets below 80F)
