Waterplay

What to do on the hottest day of the year (101F/39C - feels like 122F/50C...): go find watering holes and take some pix. This is from my favorite such place (Yards Park for you folks around D.C.), which features a waterfall behind which you can walk and which helps keep you nice and cool -- relatively speaking. Some nice shots to be had; my 'waterplay' series has just expanded a bit ;)
