My Sport

My grandson through my husband who had a daughter when he was way young, stroked his first races in his first regatta today - what a thrill for this rower! Dawson is 6'2", just shy of his 15th birthday and in love with this sport. The stroke is the one who sets the pace so a sense of timing, rhythm and good blade work are key - he is the lad with the water bottle lifted high!

It has been warm today, and now on our lake here in the middle of the city, well it is party central. But the clouds and marine air are due back Monday! We say amen to that.
