Burning Down The House

Tories approach the House in the Horseshoe during this years reenactment of the Revolutionary battle. The Colonials lost this battle and surrendered to the attacking force led by David Fanning.

The battle took place on the grounds of a beautiful plantation overlooking the Deep River which winds through the central part of North Carolina.
