Feeding frenzy...
The garden was full of feeding birds this morning. The big white daisies were covered in little black bugs (MrsDB says they were Thunder Flies - but she did drink rather a lot last night) The birds, of all descriptions, were charging all around the garden picking at the flower heads. I thought this was a sparrow, maybe a tree sparrow as we have a nest in a honeysuckle bush just out of camera but I'm advised it's a greenfinch. There were different finches, thrushes, blackbirds and other types - I'm not good at identification. Maybe that's why I mistook a young female thrush for a Ring Ouzel and acted quite childishly for a moment or two making adolescent sounds like "wow", "gosh", "phwoarhh" etc. Dull as ditchwater start to the day so the shot isn't very bright or sharp. A little tweaking has helped, I think.
